Onion 'N' Pepper Beef Steak Sandwich

1 small onion, cut into thin wedges | ||
1 jalapeno pepper, sliced | ||
1 small clove garlic, minced | ||
½ lbs. beef round steaks, cut 1/4-inch thick | ||

2 kaiser rolls, split | ||
¼ c. chopped tomato |
Directions
- Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
- Add onion, jalapeno pepper and garlic. Stirring occasionally, cook 3 to 4 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from skillet.
- Heat same skillet over medium-high heat until hot. Place beef strips in skillet; cook 1 to 2 minutes, turning once. Do not over cook.
- Season with salt. Serve in roll with onion mixture and tomato.
