Orange Maple Sundaes

½ c. Hy-Vee packed brown sugar | ||
1 tbsp. Hy-Vee maple syrup | ||
¼ c. Hy-Vee orange juice | ||
½ c. half-and-half | ||
2 oranges, peeled, sectioned and cut into bite-size pieces | ||
3 c. Hy-Vee light vanilla ice cream |
Directions
- Melt butter in a medium saucepan. Stir in brown sugar and maple syrup. Bring to a boil, stirring to dissolve sugar. Add orange juice; boil 1 minute.
- Stir in half-and-half; boil for 2 minutes. Remove pan from heat.
- Stir in orange pieces. Set aside.
- Scoop ice cream into 6 glasses. Top with orange maple sauce.
