A homemade family favorite with ingredients you can feel good about, this creamy mac & cheese is bound to make the regular dinner rotation. Try it will different seasonings and fresh herbs, like basil, thyme, and oregano.

3 tbsp. organic flour | ||

1 c. organic shredded sharp cheddar cheese | ||
1 c. organic shredded mild cheddar cheese | ||
Organic paprika, optional | ||
Organic black pepper, optional | ||
Organic cayenne pepper, optional |

- Large stockpot
- Colander
- Small bowl
- Whisk
Directions
- Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and return to pot.
- In a small bowl, combine milk, flour and salt, stirring with a whisk until smooth. Pour into pot with pasta and cook over low heat until it thickens and becomes bubbly.
- Remove from heat and add cheeses one at a time, stirring until smooth. Top with paprika, black pepper or cayenne if desired.
