2 (14.5 oz each) cans Hy-Vee Italian-style diced tomatoes, undrained | ||
1 tbsp. Hy-Vee Select extra-virgin olive oil | ||
Hy-Vee salt and Hy-Vee black pepper, to taste | ||
Hy-Vee grated Parmesan cheese, optional |
Directions
- Cook spaghetti according to package directions; drain.
- Meanwhile, stir together tomatoes, olive oil, salt and pepper in a large bowl.
- Add hot pasta and mix until thoroughly combined. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, serve immediately.
- Variation: Process tomatoes in a food processor or blender until smooth. Proceed with step 2 as directed.
