2 tbsp. cornstarch | ||
½ c. orange juice | ||
2 tbsp. butter | ||
6 to 8 ripe peaches, peeled and sliced | ||
pastry, for 2-crust pie |
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Combine brown sugar, granulated sugar, salt and cornstarch in a saucepan. Whisk in orange juice until smooth. Cook over medium heat until thickened, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat and stir in butter. Pour over sliced peaches and cool.
- Prepare pastry and line a 9-inch pie pan. Make lattice strips from remaining pastry.
- Spoon peach mixture into unbaked pie crust. Top with lattice strips. Bake for 50 minutes.
