Directions
Drain and reserve juice from the fruit. If necessary, add enough water to juice to make 3/4 cup. Whisk together peach juice mixture, corn starch, cinnamon, and nutmeg in medium saucepan. Bring to a boil; reduce heat to medium-low. Cook and whisk for 1 minute or until slightly thickened.
Add peaches to juice mixture; gently stir and cook for 1 minute more. Serve as a topping over ice cream, or cool completely and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days; use to make pie, crisp, or cobbler.
