1 (20 oz) can crushed pineapple, undrained | ||
1 (3.4 oz) pkg vanilla instant pudding mix plus ingredients called for on package | ||
1 (8 oz) container Cool Whip whipped topping, thawed | ||
chopped nuts, optional |
Directions
- Prepare and bake cake in a 9-by-13-inch pan according to package directions. Cool.
- When cake is cool, poke holes in the cake with a wooden spoon handle. Pour can of undrained crushed pineapple evenly on top of cake, making sure some of fruit gets into the holes.
- Prepare instant vanilla pudding as directed on package. Fold in Cool Whip. Spread on top of cake. Sprinkle with nuts, if desired.
- Refrigerate until set.
