    1 c. margarine, softened
    ¾ c. packed brown sugar
    ¼ c. granulated sugar
    1 (3.4 oz) pkg Jell-O instant pudding (butter pecan, butterscotch, milk chocolate, chocolate fudge, French vanilla or vanilla)
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 large eggs
    2 ¼ c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 packet(s) semisweet chocolate chips
    1 c. chopped nuts, optional

    Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
    2. Beat margarine, brown sugar, white sugar, pudding mix and vanilla in a large bowl until smooth and creamy. Beat in eggs. Gradually add flour and baking soda. Stir in chips and nuts. Dough will be stiff.
    3. Drop by teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart on cookie sheet.
    4. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
    5. Remove cookies to wire racks to cool.
