¾ c. Hy-Vee butter-flavored shortening | ||
1 c. Hy-Vee brown sugar | ||
½ c. Hy-Vee granulated sugar | ||
¼ c. Hy-Vee skim milk | ||
1 Hy-Vee large egg | ||
1 tsp. Hy-Vee vanilla | ||
1 c. Hy-Vee flour | ||
1 tsp. Hy-Vee cinnamon | ||
½ tsp. Hy-Vee baking soda | ||
¼ tsp. Hy-Vee salt | ||
3 c. Hy-Vee quick oats | ||
1 c. Hy-Vee raisins |
Directions
- Heat oven to 350 degrees.
- Beat together shortening, brown sugar, sugar, milk, egg and vanilla until light and fluffy.
- Add flour, cinnamon, baking soda and salt and mix until combined. Fold in oats and raisins.
- Drop by heaping tablespoons onto baking sheets. Bake for 15 minutes or until edges are lightly golden brown. Let cool for 2 minutes on baking sheets before removing to wire racks to cool completely.
