    ¾ c. Hy-Vee butter-flavored shortening
    1 c. Hy-Vee brown sugar
    ½ c. Hy-Vee granulated sugar
    ¼ c. Hy-Vee skim milk
    1 Hy-Vee large egg
    1 tsp. Hy-Vee vanilla
    1 c. Hy-Vee flour
    1 tsp. Hy-Vee cinnamon
    ½ tsp. Hy-Vee baking soda
    ¼ tsp. Hy-Vee salt
    3 c. Hy-Vee quick oats
    1 c. Hy-Vee raisins

    Directions

    1. Heat oven to 350 degrees.
    2. Beat together shortening, brown sugar, sugar, milk, egg and vanilla until light and fluffy.
    3. Add flour, cinnamon, baking soda and salt and mix until combined. Fold in oats and raisins.
    4. Drop by heaping tablespoons onto baking sheets. Bake for 15 minutes or until edges are lightly golden brown. Let cool for 2 minutes on baking sheets before removing to wire racks to cool completely.
