    4 lbs. pork baby back ribs
    1 large yellow onion, quartered
    1 tbsp. garlic powder
    1 tbsp. salt
    1 tbsp. pepper
    1 bay leaf
    3 can(s) beer
    water
    barbecue sauce

    Directions

    1. Combine ribs, onion, garlic powder, salt, pepper, bay leaf and beer in a large pot. Add water to cover ribs. Boil until ribs are very tender.
    2. Remove ribs from pot. Grill over low heat, mopping with barbecue sauce.
