10 to 12 large daylily buds | ||
2 tbsp. butter or margarine | ||
2 scallions, minced | ||
1 tsp. chopped parsley | ||
½ tsp. dried oregano or tarragon | ||
salt and pepper, to taste |
Directions
- Trim the stems from the buds. Rinse in cold water and pat dry on paper towels.
- In a skillet, melt butter and saute scallions for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Add buds, parsley, oregano (or tarragon), salt and pepper.
- Saute and stir for 5 minutes, just until tender.
