1 c. uncooked whole wheat shell pasta | ||
1 (15 oz) can Hy-Vee black beans, drained and rinsed | ||
½ c. chopped white onion | ||
3 tbsp. Hy-Vee Select extra-virgin olive oil | ||
1 tsp. Hy-Vee garlic salt | ||
1 tsp. Hy-Vee Italian seasoning |
Directions
- Prepare pasta according to package directions.
- Drain pasta and set aside.
- In a medium saucepan, cook beans, onions, olive oil, garlic salt and Italian seasoning over medium heat for 5 to 8 minutes, or until tender.
- Remove from heat and stir in shells.
- Cover and chill 2 hours in refrigerator before serving.
