    Don’t try tossing these shotput balls around the house, they’re much better for eating! Asian inspired, these appetizer meatballs showcase a bit of spicy kick.

    1 (8-oz.) bottle Wuju spicy ginger stir fry & dipping sauce
    ¾ c. Culinary Tours orange sauce
    ½ c. Hy-Vee orange marmalade
    1 tbsp. refrigerated ginger paste
    2 (12-oz.) pkg. Hy-Vee frozen beef meatballs
    ¼ c. water
    White sesame seed, for garnish
    Green onions, for garnish

    Things To Grab

    • Medium bowl
    • Large nonstick skillet with lid
    • Silicone spatula
    • 4-qt. slow cooker

    Directions

    1. Whisk together ginger sauce, orange sauce, orange marmalade and ginger paste in a medium bowl; set aside.

    2. Place meatballs and water in a large nonstick skillet. Cook, covered, over medium-high heat for 3 to 4 minutes or until water almost evaporated and meatballs are browned; turning occasionally.

    3. Add sauce mixture to skillet; cook for 6 to 8 minutes more or until sauce is slightly thickened. Serve immediately, or transfer to 4-qt. slow cooker and keep on WARM up to 4 hours.

    4. To serve, garnish with sesame seed and green onions, if desired.
