Shredded Barbecue Beef Sandwiches

3 lbs. boneless beef chuck roast | ||
1 (18 oz) bottle Hy-Vee original barbecue sauce | ||
1 tsp. liquid smoke | ||
1 tsp. Hy-Vee onion powder | ||
10 Hy-Vee bakery buns, for serving |
Directions
- Place roast in a 3-quart slow cooker. Top with barbecue sauce, liquid smoke and onion powder. Cover. Cook on LOW for 10 hours or HIGH for 5 hours.
- Remove roast from sauce. Shred with two forks. Return to sauce. Stir. Serve on Hy-Vee bakery buns if desired.
