Simple Soy Spinach Salad

¼ tsp. Hy-Vee red pepper flakes | ||
1 tbsp. honey | ||
½ lbs. fresh turnip greens, stems removed | ||
2 qt. water | ||
1 (10 oz) pkg fresh spinach | ||
1 tbsp. Hy-Vee pecan pieces, toasted |
Directions
- In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, red pepper flakes and honey. Stir until blended.
- In an 8-quart stockpot, bring water to a boil. Add turnip greens. Cover and cook 1 minute. Add spinach and cook until wilted. Drain and rinse greens under cold water. Drain again and pat dry.
- Toss greens with sesame dressing.
- Top with toasted pecans.
