½ c. garlic ginger stir-fry sauce | ||
½ lbs. beef sirloin, cut into very thin strips | ||
2 tsp. Hy-Vee canola oil, divided | ||
½ lbs. fresh green beans, cut into 1-inch pieces (about 2 c.) | ||
2 c. quartered-lengthwise baby carrots | ||
1 tsp. sesame seeds | ||
3 c. hot cooked Hy-Vee brown rice |
Directions
- Combine stir-fry sauce and sirloin strips in a resealable plastic bag. Place in a bowl and refrigerate for up to 1 hour.
- Heat 1 teaspoon oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add beef and marinade to skillet and stir-fry until browned. Remove and keep warm.
- Reduce heat to medium. Add remaining teaspoon oil to the skillet. Add beans and carrots. Cover and cook, stirring occasionally, for 10 minutes or until crisp-tender.
- Return the beef to the skillet and stir in sesame seeds. Cook 1 to 2 minutes or until beef is heated through.
- Serve with brown rice.
