Slow-Roasted Pork Shoulder

2 tbsp. poultry seasoning | ||
1 ½ tbsp. granulated garlic | ||
1 tbsp. black pepper, medium grind | ||
1 tbsp. sea salt | ||
1 (4 lb) pork shoulder roast | ||
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce |
Directions
- Preheat oven to 250 degrees.
- Combine and thoroughly mix seasoning, garlic, pepper and salt; set aside.
- Using a basting brush, baste all sides of pork roast with Worcestershire sauce.
- Thoroughly coat all sides of roast with spice mixture.
- Place roast on a rack in a shallow roaster or sheet pan. Place in middle of preheated oven for 4 to 5 hours or until inserted thermometer reads at least 170 degrees. Do not open oven for the first 3-1/2 hours.
