Sour Cream Soft Sugar Cookies

2 c. Hy-Vee sugar | ||
1 c. Hy-Vee margarine, softened | ||
2 Hy-Vee large eggs | ||
1 tsp. Hy-Vee baking soda | ||
1 c. Hy-Vee sour cream | ||
1 tsp. Hy-Vee vanilla | ||
1 tsp. Hy-Vee baking powder | ||
¼ tsp. Hy-Vee salt | ||
5 c. Hy-Vee flour |
Directions
- In a large mixing bowl, cream sugar and margarine; add eggs and beat well. Stir baking soda into sour cream and stir in. Add vanilla. Gradually add baking powder, salt and flour. Cover and chill several hours or overnight.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Roll dough into 1-1/2 inch balls and place on ungreased baking sheet. Flatten each ball with bottom of glass before baking 10 to 12 minutes.
- Remove cookies to wire racks to cool.
