1 (16 oz) pkg frozen Hy-Vee Country Trio blend vegetables | ||
1 (32 oz) pkg Hy-Vee 33%-less-sodium chicken broth | ||
3 c. water | ||
1 (15 oz) can Hy-Vee dark red kidney beans, drained and rinsed | ||
1 tsp. Hy-Vee Italian seasoning | ||
¾ c. dry Hy-Vee small shell pasta | ||
Hy-Vee salt and Hy-Vee black pepper, to taste | ||
Hy-Vee shredded Parmesan cheese, optional |
Directions
- Combine tomatoes, vegetables, broth, beans and seasoning in a Dutch oven over high heat. Bring to a boil; stir in pasta.
- Reduce heat and simmer 10 to 15 minutes.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste and top with Parmesan cheese, if desired.
