    3 c. sliced Bartlett pears
    1 c. fresh cranberries
    1 large Hy-Vee egg
    ¾ c. packed Hy-Vee brown sugar
    ¼ c. Hy-Vee skim milk
    1 c. Hy-Vee flour
    1 tsp. Hy-Vee baking powder
    ½ tsp. Hy-Vee salt
    2 tsp. apple pie spice
    ½ tsp. almond extract
    2 tbsp. Hy-Vee butter, melted
    Hy-Vee vanilla ice cream, optional

    Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Layer pears and cranberries in a greased 2-quart baking dish.
    2. Stir together egg, brown sugar and milk. In a separate bowl, stir together flour, baking powder, salt and apple pie spice. Stir into egg mixture. Stir in almond extract and butter. Pour mixture over fruit.
    3. Bake 30 minutes. Cobbler should be bubbly and lightly browned. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream if desired.
