1 (64 oz) bottle Hy-Vee apple juice | ||
¼ c. packed Hy-Vee brown sugar | ||
3 cinnamon sticks | ||
1 tbsp. whole cloves | ||
1 tbsp. whole allspice | ||
apple slices and cinnamon sticks, for garnish |
Directions
- In a large saucepan, combine apple juice, brown sugar, cinnamon sticks, cloves and allspice. Simmer 15 minutes.
- Strain, discarding spices. Return cider to saucepan and serve warm garnished with slices of apple and cinnamon sticks.
