3 lbs. chicken pieces, legs and thighs work best | ||

Directions
- Combine cumin, paprika, cayenne pepper, turmeric, black pepper, garlic and lemon juice in a large resealable plastic bag. Add chicken, seal and massage spice mixture into chicken. Refrigerate for at least 3 hours.
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Place chicken on a rimmed baking sheet and brush with olive oil. Discard marinade.
- Bake for 20 minutes. Turn chicken over. Bake for an additional 20 to 30 minutes, basting often.
