    1 tbsp. Hy-Vee canola oil
    2 tbsp. Hy-Vee orange juice
    3 tbsp. Hy-Vee lemon juice
    1 tbsp. Cookies flavor enhancer
    1 tsp. packed Hy-Vee brown sugar
    1 tsp. Hy-Vee ground oregano
    1 tsp. Hy-Vee black pepper
    1 (3-1/2- to 4-pound) Hy-Vee whole chicken

    Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
    2. In a small bowl, combine oil, orange and lemon juices, Cookies flavor enhancer, brown sugar, oregano and black pepper. Liberally coat chicken with rub. Bind chicken legs with kitchen string, if desired. Place chicken in roasting pan.
    3. Roast chicken, uncovered, for 10 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 375 degrees and roast for an additional 60 to 70 minutes or until internal temperature of breast reaches 165 degrees. Remove chicken from oven, loosely cover with aluminum foil and let rest 10 minutes before serving.
