    1 lbs. boneless sirloin steak
    ½ tsp. sea salt
    1 large green pepper, seeded, sliced
    1 medium onion, sliced
    4 brat buns
    8 tbsp. Velveeta shreds, divided

    Directions

    1. Remove steak from refrigerator and allow it to come to room temperature for 20 minutes. Season with salt.
    2. Meanwhile, preheat grill to medium heat. Place steak on grill. Cook for 5 minutes. Turn. Cook for an additional 5 minutes or until desired doneness. Remove from heat. Slice steak into 1/4-inch-thick slices.
    3. Meanwhile, place pepper slices and onion slices on grill. Grill for 2 to 3 minutes. Turn. Cook for an additional 2 to 3 minutes or until tender.
    4. Split buns; evenly fill with steak slices. Top each sandwich with 2 tablespoons of cheese shreds and pepper slices and onion slices. Wrap each sandwich in foil. Grill for 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
