    2 tbsp. unsalted organic butter
    2 lbs. organic tart apples, peeled, cored and sliced
    ½ c. granulated organic sugar
    ½ c. unfiltered apple juice
    1 tsp. ground cinnamon

    Directions

    1. Melt butter in a large non-stick skillet. Add apples and cook, stirring occasionally, for 3 minutes. Stir in sugar and cook for 3 minutes.
    2. Stir in apple juice and cinnamon; cover and simmer for 15 minutes. Uncover and simmer for 10 minutes more or until apples are soft.
