4 Granny Smith apples, cored, peeled, and chopped
4 Fuji apples, cored, peeled, and chopped
4 c. fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
½ c. Hy-Vee granulated sugar
½ c. water
1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
½ tsp. Hy-Vee salt

Directions

  1. Combine Granny Smith and Fuji apples in a large saucepan. Add strawberries, sugar, water, pumpkin pie spice, and salt. 

  2. Cook, uncovered, over medium-low heat for 20 minutes or until very soft, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat. 

  3. Using the S-blade attachment on an immersion blender, combine until smooth. Cover and refrigerate at least one hour or up to 3 days.
