Sugared Acorn Squash

3 small acorn squash, halved and seeded | ||
¼ c. packed Hy-Vee brown sugar | ||
1 tbsp. Hy-Vee honey | ||
1 tbsp. Hy-Vee pancake syrup | ||
½ tsp. Hy-Vee ground cinnamon |
Directions
- Place squash halves cut-side-down in a large microwave-safe pan. Cover with plastic wrap and microwave on HIGH for 14 minutes.
- Meanwhile, in a medium bowl, stir together brown sugar, honey, pancake syrup and cinnamon.
- Turn squash halves cut-side-up.
- Divide brown sugar mixture evenly into squash halves. Microwave, uncovered, for 5 minutes.
- Let cool 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
