½ c. rice
4 c. milk, scalded
1 large egg
salt
¾ c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
ground cinnamon

Directions

  1. Add rice to scalded milk in saucepan. Simmer until rice is done, about 20 minutes.
  2. Stir in egg, salt, sugar and vanilla. Cook until creamy.
  3. Pour rice into bowl. Sprinkle with cinnamon.
