8 c. Hy-Vee crispy hexagons cereal | ||
8 c. Hy-Vee pretzel twists | ||
1 (10 oz) can deluxe mixed nuts | ||
2 c. packed Hy-Vee brown sugar | ||
1 c. Hy-Vee margarine | ||
½ c. light corn syrup | ||
½ tsp. Hy-Vee baking soda |
Directions
- In a large bowl, combine crispy hexagons, pretzels and nuts.
- In a saucepan, bring brown sugar, margarine and corn syrup to a boil. Boil 1-1/2 minutes, stirring continuously.
- Remove from heat and stir in baking soda. Pour mixture over cereal mixture and mix well.
- Place in a large microwave-safe dish and microwave on HIGH 4 minutes in microwave, stirring every minute.
- Spread on waxed paper to cool.
- Store in an air-tight container.
