Directions
Knead in egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and enough flour to form a slightly sticky dough. Remove dough from bowl and knead 8 to 10 times on a lightly floured surface. Divide into two portions.
Lightly dust hands with flour. Roll each dough half into a 1/2-inch thick log. Cut into 1/2-inch pieces. Gently press the times of a lightly floured fork into gnocchi to form ridges.
Place gnocchi into a large pot of lightly salted boiling water. Cook 2 to 3 minutes or until gnocchi float; drain. Return gnocchi to pot placed over low heat. Add pasta sauce and toss to coat. Continue cooking until pasta sauce is warmed through. Serve topped with grated Parmesan cheese.
