Directions
Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and syrup on medium for 2 minutes, scraping sides of bowl occasionally. Beat in egg, egg yolk, milk, and vanilla until combined. Beat in flour mixture. Add chocolate chips.
Drop cookie scoops, about 1-1/2 tablespoon portions, of dough 3-inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 10 to 11 minutes or until edges are light brown. Cool on cookie sheet for 2 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack and cool completely.
