    1 (1.2 pound) pkg ground turkey
    ½ c. finely chopped onion
    ½ c. finely chopped carrot
    2 (32 oz each) containers Hy-Vee reduced-sodium chicken broth
    ½ c. medium pearl barley
    1 tbsp. Mrs. Dash original seasoning
    1 (10 oz) pkg Hy-Vee frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained
    Hy-Vee shredded Parmesan cheese, optional

    Directions

    1. In a Dutch oven, brown ground turkey, onion and carrot over medium-high heat. Drain well.
    2. Stir in chicken broth, barley and seasoning. Bring to a boil. Cover and simmer for 40 minutes.
    3. Stir in spinach and simmer for 5 minutes, to heat through. Serve with shredded Parmesan cheese, if desired.
