Weeknight Crab Alfredo

Description
We call it Weeknight Crab Alfredo because it's a quick go-to dinner that can be made in just minutes.

1 (8 oz) pkg fettuccine, spinach or plain | ||
½ c. Hy-Vee frozen peas | ||
4 oz. light cream cheese | ||
½ c. Hy-Vee milk | ||
1 ½ c. lump crab meat | ||
4 green onions, sliced | ||
1 ½ oz. shredded Hy-Vee Parmesan cheese (1/3 c.) |
Directions
- Cook fettuccine al dente according to package directions; add peas during final 2 minutes of cooking. Drain; return pasta and peas to pot.
- Meanwhile, for sauce, heat cream cheese and milk in a saucepan over low heat until cheese melts, stirring until smooth. Gently stir in crabmeat and onions. Heat through.
- Pour sauce over pasta and toss to coat. Let stand 1 minute. Toss again. Sprinkle with Parmesan and serve immediately.
