    2 ¼ c. Hy-Vee flour
    1 tsp. Hy-Vee baking soda
    ½ tsp. Hy-Vee salt
    ½ c. Hy-Vee butter, softened
    ½ c. Hy-Vee butter-flavored shortening
    ¾ c. Hy-Vee granulated sugar
    2 Hy-Vee eggs
    1 tsp. Hy-Vee vanilla
    1 (12 oz) pkg Hy-Vee creamy white baking chips
    1 (6.5 oz) jar Hy-Vee macadamia nuts, coarsely chopped

    Directions

    1. Combine flour, baking soda and salt. Set aside.
    2. Beat butter, shortening and sugar until creamy. Beat in eggs one at a time. Mix in vanilla. Gradually mix in flour mixture until completely combined. Fold in baking chips and nuts.
    3. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto baking sheet.
    4. Bake at 375 degrees for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown. Let stand on cookie sheet for 2 minutes before removing to wire rack to cool completely.
