1 (16 oz) pkg plain rotini pasta, uncooked | ||
2 green bell peppers, seeded and chopped | ||
1 large cucumber | ||
1 (8 oz) jar pimientos, chopped | ||
1 ½ c. granulated sugar | ||
1 c. salad oil | ||
1 ¼ c. white vinegar | ||
2 tsp. garlic powder | ||
2 tbsp. Italian seasoning |
Directions
- Cook rotini pasta according to package directions until tender. Drain.
- Meanwhile, chop green pepper. Cut cucumber in fourths lengthwise and then into 1/4-inch-wide slices.
- Combine cooked pasta, green pepper, cucumber and pimiento.
- In separate bowl, mix together sugar, salad oil, vinegar, garlic powder and Italian seasoning. Pour over pasta mixture.
- Refrigerate 3 hours before serving.
