Great American Milk Drive
This April, Hy-Vee stores in the Cedar Rapids area and Land O'Lakes are partnering with The Great American Milk Drive to deliver much-needed, nutrient-rich milk to families served by Feeding America food banks. Collectively, Feeding America's 200 food banks and 60,000 extension agencies serve over 46 million Americans who receive—on average— one gallon of milk per person, per year.
You can make a difference! Shoppers can donate the monetary equivalent of a half or whole gallon of milk at checkout. Hy-Vee cashiers will use scan cards with scannable barcodes to add the donation to shoppers' bills. All donations will be delivered as physical gallons to HACAP Food Reservoir.
