Metamucil.

HOW CAN IT HELP?

The psyllium (fiber) in Metamucil has been clinically proven to help lower the bad (LDL) cholesterol in your body by trapping and removing it. But it doesn’t stop there! Metamucil also helps you feel less hungry, helps maintain healthy blood sugar levels, and promotes digestive health.

HOW SHOULD IT BE TAKEN?Metamucil

To start, mix 1 rounded tablespoon into 8 oz (a full glass) of water or other cool, clear liquid. Stir quickly and drink right away once a day. You can gradually increase this to 3 times daily with meals. Also available sugar-free and as capsules and wafers!

IMPORTANT CONSIDERATIONS

  • You must mix this product with at least 8 oz of liquid. Taking without enough liquid may cause choking. Do not take Metamucil if you have difficulty swallowing.
  • Fiber can affect how well medications work, so take this product at least 2 hours before or after taking medications.
  • You may notice changes in your bowel habits or some bloating when you first start taking Metamucil. This is normal and will go away over time. To prevent constipation, ensure that you are well hydrated when you use this product.
  • Stop using and contact your doctor if you experience constipation lasting more than 7 days.
