Hyvee Dietitian Expert Tip
“Gradually introduce your infant to foods, one at a time to detect any allergic reaction. Begin dairy, such as nut butters, eggs or soy, starting at about 6 months of age. With each new food, wait a few days to make sure your baby doesn’t have a reaction such as diarrhea, vomiting or a rash.” —Kimberly Proctor, RD, LDHoneydew Melon
