    This icy blended beverage combines frozen cubes of apple cider, cold brew coffee blend, caramel topping and a touch of spice for an autumn twist on your classic coffee. The addition of flavorless xanthan gum ensures the frappé will stay rich and creamy.

    6 tbsp. caramel dessert sauce, divided, plus additional for garnish
    ½ c. Hy-Vee whipped topping, thawed
    ¾ tsp. apple pie spice, divided
    1 c. Wide Awake Coffee Co. unsweetened espresso blend cold brew coffee
    ¼ tsp. xanthan gum, optional

    Directions

    1. Pour apple cider into an ice cube tray; freeze for 6 hours or until frozen. Drizzle 1 Tbsp. caramel sauce into the inside of each of 2 (14-oz.) glasses; freeze.

    2. Stir together whipped topping, 2 Tbsp. caramel sauce and ¼ tsp. apple pie spice in a small bowl until combined; set aside.

    3. Combine frozen apple cider cubes, cold brew coffee, xanthan gum and remaining 2 Tbsp. caramel sauce and ½ tsp. apple pie spice in a large blender. Cover and process on high until smooth.

    4. Remove prepared glasses from freezer; pour coffee mixture into glasses. Top with whipped topping mixture. Garnish with additional caramel sauce and apple pie spice, if desired.
