Gluten-Free Beef and Mushroom Spaghetti

The sautéed garlic and onion gives this dish a bold flavor. Making it gluten-free by using gluten-free spaghetti, broth and pasta sauce.

½ c. onion, chopped | ||
8 oz. sliced mushrooms | ||
12 oz. lean ground beef | ||
½ c. red wine, or gluten-free beef broth | ||
1 (24-oz.) jar gluten-free pasta sauce | ||
1 tbsp. fresh parsley, chopped | ||
1 tbsp. fresh basil, chopped | ||
½ tsp. Hy-Vee freshly ground black pepper | ||
½ c. Hy-Vee shredded Parmesan cheese |

Directions
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sauté garlic and onion for 3 minutes. Add mushrooms and cook for 2 more minutes.
Add ground beef to skillet, breaking up with a wooden spoon. Cook until no longer pink, about 6 minutes. Drain.
Stir in red wine or broth and cook for 2 minutes or until evaporated. Add pasta sauce, parsley, basil and pepper. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
Serve sauce with hot spaghetti and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
