1 ½ lbs. ground beef | ||
½ c. chopped onion | ||
2 packet(s) Hy-Vee taco seasoning mix | ||
1 ¼ c. water | ||
1 (12 oz) package Hy-Vee rotini | ||
3 tomatoes, chopped | ||
3 c. shredded sharp cheddar cheese | ||
1 ½ c. sliced black olives | ||
2 avocados, peeled, seeded and chopped | ||
1 ½ c. taco sauce | ||
3 c. shredded lettuce |
Directions
- In large skillet, cook ground beef and onion; drain off excess fat.
- Add seasoning mix and water. Bring to boil; simmer uncovered 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Cook macaroni according to package directions.
- Add remaining ingredients. Stir gently. Serve hot or cold. When serving cold, add shredded lettuce just prior to serving.
