1 lbs. ground beef | ||
2 (8 oz each) cans tomato sauce | ||
1 (1.25 oz) envelope dry taco seasoning | ||
1 (8 oz) tube refrigerated crescent rolls | ||
½ lbs. Mexican Velveeta cheese, cubed | ||
1 c. shredded lettuce | ||
½ c. chopped tomato | ||
¼ c. sliced pitted ripe olives | ||
sour cream, optional |
Directions
- Brown ground beef. Drain.
- Stir in tomato sauce and taco seasoning mix. Simmer 5 minutes.
- Press crescent roll dough on bottom and sides of ungreased 12-inch pizza pan, pressing edges together to form seal.
- Prick bottom and sides of crust with fork. Bake 10 to 12 minutes at 375 degrees or until golden-brown.
- Fill crust with meat mixture. Top with cheese. Continue baking until cheese begins to melt.
- Top with lettuce, tomato and ripe olives. Serve with sour cream, if desired.
