Donate each time you shop in store or online to help feed a local family in need.
Hy-Vee is continuing to combat food insecurity across its eight-state region with a fundraiser to support the increased need to replenish food and supplies at local food banks. Donations can be made in store and will benefit Hy-Vee One Step so that we can help create hunger-free communities. Click here to read the official announcement.
Why donate?
In response to the pandemic, federal Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits were temporarily increased to better support the needs of low-income households. Recently, it was announced that these benefits would return to pre-pandemic levels which, in turn, reduces access to healthy foods. In an effort to provide immediate and timely assistance to those impacted, and others that experience food insecurity, Hy-Vee is collecting donations in store and online to feed local families in need each week throughout the campaign.
