You'll have "snow" much fun making these no-bake sandwich cookie snowman truffles. "Is It Cake?" Netflix winner Andrew Fuller will show you how!
Directions
Shape the sandwich cookie mixture into one-inch balls. Place balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet and chill in the refrigerator for one hour.
While sandwich cookie balls are chilling, melt white chocolate in microwave, heating in 10-15 second increments, stirring after each increment. Or, melt chocolate on the stove using the double-boiler method.
Hyvee Culinary Expert Tip
If your melted chocolate takes on a grainy or pasty consistency known as seizing, you have either burned it or it's come in contact with water and can't be saved. Always melt chocolate over low heat and keep it free of water to avoid seizing.Remove sandwich cookie balls from the refrigerator. Place spoonfuls of melted chocolate on parchment-lined baking sheet. Dip sandwich cookie balls into bowl of melted chocolate and remove with a fork. Set chocolate-dipped sandwich cookie balls on the white chocolate on parchment paper to dry.
For the snowman’s hat, place a mini sandwich cookie on top of each ball. Add dots for the snowman’s eyes, buttons and nose using black and orange gel icing.
