Directions
The Meats: Place the next longest board above the crackers and top with a selection of prosciutto, mortadella, salami, speck, and lomo. It's a good idea to have extra to replenish as needed.
The Cheese: Soft cheese, such as wheels of room temperature brie and triple-cream, along with several varieties of sliced semihard cheese, such as Gouda or Cheddar, is a nice combination. This can be dressed up with festive varieties such as Wensleydale cranberry cheese.
The "Tree" Toppers: Go for pops of color by offering fresh fruits, nuts, green olives, dried fruits, jams, oils, or honey in small ramekins. Arrange a few above the cheese board to form the top of your tree. Place the remaining extras on other boards.
