    1 Hy-Vee large egg yolk
    ½ tsp. Hy-Vee vanilla extract
    2 tbsp. Hy-Vee all-purpose flour
    ⅛ tsp. Hy-Vee salt
    Hy-Vee whipped topping, for serving

    • (11-oz.) round mini baker

    • Small microwave-safe bowl
    • Silicone spatula
    • Whisk
    • Medium bowl
    • Oven mitts or a kitchen towel
    • Offset spatula
    • Serving plate

    Directions

    1. Preheat an 8-qt. air fryer to 350 degrees according to manufacturer’s directions. Lightly spray one (11-oz.) round mini baker with air fryer spray; set aside.

    2. Microwave chocolate chips and butter in a small microwave-safe bowl on HIGH at 15-second intervals until melted, stirring each time. Set aside to cool slightly.

    3. Whisk together sugar, egg, egg yolk and vanilla in a medium bowl just until combined. Whisk in the flour and salt until smooth. Add melted chocolate mixture; gently stir until well combined.

    4. Add batter in prepared mini baker dish; cover with lid. Place in air fryer basket. Air-fry for 14 minutes. Remove lid from baker dish and air-fry for 5 to 6 minutes more or until edges are set and top is dry. Do not overbake.

    5. Remove baker dish from air fryer using oven mitts or a kitchen towel. Let stand in dish for 2 minutes. Run an offset spatula around outside of the cake. Gently invert dish onto a serving plates. Top with whipped topping and berries, if desired.
