1 (21 oz) can Hy-Vee More Fruit apple pie filling | ||
1 ½ tsp. apple pie spice, divided | ||
6 (8-inch) flour tortillas | ||
½ c. Hy-Vee butter | ||
½ c. Hy-Vee sugar | ||
½ c. packed Hy-Vee brown sugar | ||
½ c. Hy-Vee walnut pieces | ||
3 c. light homemade vanilla ice cream, divided |
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Stir together pie filling and 1 tsp apple pie spice. Evenly spoon pie filling onto the center of each tortilla. Roll up tortillas and place seam-side-down in a greased 8-by-8-inch baking dish.
- In a medium saucepan, stir together butter, sugars, remaining apple pie spice and walnuts. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat. Simmer 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Pour sauce over tortillas. Bake uncovered for 20 minutes.
- To serve, top each tortilla half with 1/4 cup ice cream.
