Baked Raisin-and-Pecan-Stuffed Apples

4 Granny Smith apples | ||
½ c. Hy-Vee raisins | ||
¼ c. Hy-Vee pecan pieces | ||
¼ c. packed Hy-Vee brown sugar | ||
1 tbsp. Hy-Vee lemon juice | ||
½ tsp. Hy-Vee cinnamon | ||
¼ tsp. nutmeg | ||
¼ c. water |
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Slice the top 1/4-inch off of each apple. Remove and discard cores.
- In a medium bowl, combine raisins, pecan pieces, brown sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon and nutmeg. Stuff into apples and place in a small baking dish.
- Pour water in the bottom of the baking dish.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until apples are soft.
