    1 tbsp. smoked paprika
    2 tsp. Hy-Vee garlic powder
    2 tsp. Hy-Vee onion powder
    2 tsp. kosher salt
    2 tsp. Hy-Vee black pepper
    1 tsp. Hy-Vee ground cumin
    1 tsp. Hy-Vee dried thyme
    ½ tsp. Hy-Vee cayenne pepper
    1 (6-lb.) boneless pork shoulder roast
    ½ c. Hy-Vee original yellow mustard
    ¾ c. water
    2 tbsp. Hy-Vee honey
    1 tbsp. Hy-Vee apple cider flavored distilled vinegar
    2 14-oz.) pkg. Hy-Vee white slider buns (24 ct. total), split
    Wahlburgers Chef Paul’s BBQ Sauce, for serving
    Lightly dressed prepared coleslaw, for serving

    Directions

    1. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees. Stir together brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, cumin, thyme and cayenne pepper in a small bowl.

    2. Pat pork roast dry with paper towels. Spread mustard over surface of roast; sprinkle with brown sugar mixture.

    3. Place roast in large roasting pan. Stir together water, honey and vinegar in a small bowl. Pour water mixture around roast in pan. Loosely cover with foil.

    4. Bake for 5 hours. Remove foil and bake for 45 to 60 minutes more or until meat is very tender and falling apart. Let rest for 10 to 15 minutes.

    5. Transfer roast from the pan to a large cutting board. Shred the pork using 2 forks. Discard large pieces of fat. Place shredded pork in a large bowl. Drizzle and toss with a small amount of pan drippings just until moistened.

    6. Serve pulled pork on slider buns with BBQ sauce and coleslaw.
