Slow-Cooker Apple Crisp

6 medium apples, peeled, cored and sliced into eighths | ||
1/4 to 1/2 c. Hy-Vee granulated sugar | ||
½ c. Hy-Vee plain bread crumbs | ||
½ c. uncooked Hy-Vee quick oats | ||
2 tsp. apple pie spice | ||
¾ c. packed Hy-Vee brown sugar | ||
½ c. Hy-Vee margarine, melted | ||
¼ c. Hy-Vee chopped walnuts |
Directions
- Spray inside of slow cooker with cooking spray. Stir together apples and granulated sugar. Pour into slow cooker.
- Stir together bread crumbs, oats, spice, brown sugar, margarine and walnuts. Spoon mixture evenly over apples.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 3 to 4 hours or on HIGH for 2 hours or until done.
